Gavin Pond has been leading people in the New Zealand and American outdoors for fifteen years.
Gavin grew up in the top of the South Island in the sunshine city of Nelson. When he wasn’t helping on the family orchard, he was paddling the ocean and nearby rivers or hiking in the local mountains and valleys.
In Fiordland’s majestic Milford Sound, Gavin served as lead sea kayak guide for New Zealand’s oldest kayaking company. He has guided hiking, canyoning and cycling trips in and around Queenstown and the USA.
True New Zealand Adventures is the result of a simple dream: to show people the best of New Zealand and have fun doing it. Plain and simple. We love what we do and we think we’re pretty good at it … in fact, we know it.
A native of the U.S., Suzi Piker has a traveler’s understanding of New Zealand. Based out of our U.S. office, her knowledge will help you prepare for your trip and she’s ready to answer questions big and small.
