Gavin Pond has been leading people in the New Zealand and American outdoors for fifteen years.
Gavin grew up in the top of the South Island in the sunshine city of Nelson. When he wasn’t helping on the family orchard, he was paddling the ocean and nearby rivers or hiking in the local mountains and valleys.
In Fiordland’s majestic Milford Sound, Gavin served as lead sea kayak guide for New Zealand’s oldest kayaking company. He has guided hiking, canyoning and cycling trips in and around Queenstown and the USA. Listen to Gavin talk about his love of guiding and New Zealand’s outdoors.
